Head – Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the PPC function to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality departments for smooth workflow.
• Monitor machine and manpower utilization, especially in CNC/VMC and gear machining lines.
• Plan material requirements and coordinate with stores/procurement.
• Track production progress and address delays or bottlenecks.
• Implement lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Maintain production reports, schedules, and MIS data.
• Guide and manage the PPC team.
Candidate Profile:
• Strong background in gear or CNC VMC machining industries.
• Knowledge of machining processes and shop floor planning.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Chandigarh/Baddi.
