Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling a variety of travel products and services, including domestic and international holiday packages, flights, hotels, and travel insurance. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, helping them plan and book their travel arrangements, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Guiding customers on their Holiday requirements.
Designing Holiday Itinerary as per customer requirement
Understand customer requirements and offer travel solutions that best suit their needs.
Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by demonstrating excellent product knowledge and persuasive communication skills.
Upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as travel insurance, tours, and upgrades.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Manage end-to-end booking processes, including flights, hotels, transfers, and excursions.
Selling Holiday Packages to customers.
Ensure tracking of payment collection.
Work with suppliers and partners to ensure availability and best rates.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers by offering personalized service.
Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and offers within the Indian market.
Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to stay competitive.
Job Requirement
Proven experience in travel sales, preferably within the Indian market.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in other regional languages is a plus.
Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, etc.) is an advantage.
